West Indies captain Stephanie Taylor on Sunday completed 5000 ODI runs and became the third woman cricketer in the world to achieve the feat. Taylor reached the 5000-run mark in the third ODI of the West Indies women’s tour of Pakistan, 2021 against Pakistan, at the National Stadium, Karachi on Sunday. India women’s captain Mithali Raj is at the top with 7391 runs, followed by Charlotte Mary Edwards of England and West Indies’ Stafanie Taylor with 5992 and 5024 runs respectively.

Coming into the match, West Indies restricted Pakistan to 225/7 in the third ODI clash. Shakira Selman and Alia Allene were the bowlers’ picks as they took two wickets each for West Indies.

For Pakistan, Muniba Ali and Alia Riaz scored 58 and 44 runs respectively.
