Akshay Kumar starrer Suryavanshi is earning a lot at the box office. The Rohit Shetty directorial, starring Katrina Kaif, has managed to collect Rs 182.18 crore in 19 days at the Indian box office.
sooryavanshi The film was the first big-ticket film to be released in theaters after cinema halls remained closed for a long time due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film, which released on 5 November, is credited with reviving the exhibition sector in North India.

The film was originally planned to release in March 2020. Rohit Shetty Said that putting the project on hold for 19 months was not easy and recalled how their decision to release the film in theatres was being considered a fatal move. He told PTI, “When all this was happening, I knew people would come to theatres. Somebody had to take the first step. I knew I had to take the risk and now I think it was worth taking. It was just It was not about me but about the livelihood of all those involved in the theatrical business.”

He said, “Without a female lead or a cop, the universe will never be complete. I don’t want to make a short film. With a female lead, my film will be on the level of Singham or Sooryavanshi. Unless I have a story like that. Miti, I can’t go ahead because there is a demand for a female cop in this universe, and I can understand that. Whenever I make this film, I definitely want to make it a big-scale film.”
