The family followed breakfast with a round of snorkeling. Sharing the details, Gul Panag wrote, “My mother, continuing her bravery, entered the water, not knowing how to swim, to snorkel, protected by a life jacket. An entire world lies beneath the surface that one has to see to believe it, and the abundant marine life around the island is thanks to the coral. Nihal chose to be a snail on a whale (me), inspired by Julia Donaldson’s book The Snail and the Whale. Sitting on my back while snorkeling. ,

The family followed up with a snorkeling session with some pool time and lunch. Looking at the fitness enthusiast Gul Panag she even managed to go for a short run on the beach. “I forgot how hard it is to run on sand,” she said.

The family ended the day with some wonderful dinner. Gul Panag wrote, “Pier 6 is a fine dining restaurant built on stilts, at the northern end of the island. I saw Nihal throwing his food at the fish below. Had to tell him if he didn’t listen to his mother.” If they do not eat and do not eat dinner, they eat little boys too.

“We called it an early night, because we were planning more water activities for the next day. My husband (here as the weatherman here) said it was going to rain in the first half, and we were going to go before that. Wanted to have some water,” she wrote, ending the note.

Like the third day of the family in Maldives, their first two days were also full of action. After landing in the island nation, the family had some fine food and took a long evening walk on the beach.

Take a look at Gul Panag’s post about it:

Equally exciting was the second day, when Gul Panag won the underwater swimming session. The family even went on a scenic sunset cruise in “very choppy waters.”

Gul Panag also praised her mother a lot but despite being a non-swimmer, she tried her hand at snorkeling. She wrote, “She (Gul Panag’s mother) displayed exemplary courage at her age, by going open to snorkeling with the life jacket on. We spent some time in the water, she got used to and handled the buoyancy offered by the life jacket. I felt comfortable.”

The actress was also in Maldives in September this year, which proved to us that she can’t stay away from the beach for long. Gul Panag is a former Miss India and made her Bollywood debut with the 2003 film Dhoop.
