‘Never did anything crazy like a peel’: What Kate Beckinsale’s self-care routine looked like

For some time now, the bathing routine of celebs has surprised people. While some actors are believed to skip bathing frequently, there are others who bathe daily. Among them is actor Kate Beckinsale, who recently revealed her skin care and beauty routine.

The 48-year-old was quoted as saying People magazine that she “didn’t really have a skin care routine” until she was “too big.” “…probably in my late 30s, early 40s.”

The actor said that she is blessed with good genes, but she makes it a point to limit her sun exposure. “I’m really lucky, my mother’s skin is really good. I think there’s clearly some genetic thing to it, though you can mess it up. I didn’t see the sun for the first several decades of my life and Maybe that’s been a big help. A big part of it was geography [growing up in England]But secondly, there were very few occasions when we used to go on family vacation to some hot place, I was crazy that my face would get freckles in the form of a mustache. I just didn’t want a mustache, so I used sunscreen,” she told the outlet exclusively.

Beckinsale also said that she has “never done something as insane as a peel” when it comes to skin care. “I really want to, because I see people who have them, but I feel like something will go wrong and I’ll be scared.”

But, most importantly, there’s one thing she does regularly – and that’s taking a shower. “I literally can’t make the transition from day to night until I submerge myself in water. Which is really annoying, because I can find a hotel room and have cockroaches in it and go, ‘Okay ‘Okay,’ but if [the room] I don’t have a bathtub, I’ll be like, ‘Excuse me, can I move?’ I really need it every day, no matter what. Even when it’s Oscar night and you’re arriving home at seven in the morning after going to 15 parties. I still have to go through the whole bath,” she said.

earlier this year, Beckinsale talks about impossible and unhealthy standards of beauty Which women are expected to follow. he told The Sunday Times Women in and out of Hollywood are subjected to impossible beauty standards.

“I think, when you start out, it’s helpful at first if people find you attractive. If people start thinking that’s your main thing, I don’t think it’s helpful to anyone.” It is, at least for all of you. I think women are cursed anyway. I don’t just mean actresses. You are seen as attractive, you are not seen as attractive.”
