Here we have a rice dish that is aromatic, savory and delicious – it is called Gajar Matar Pulao.
Casserole is an easy and comforting dish
Don’t let the simplicity of the dish be deceived—this easy and quick-to-make dish is as much a hit with weeknight specials as it is with a quick weekday lentil and pickle combination. Carrots bring a mildly sweet flavor to the casserole that rounds out other salty spices, while the crunchy green peas add a hint of freshness to the dish, making it a quick-to-make dinner fix. To make a classic veg pulao any day, here’s an easy recipe for you to try.
Put desi ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and fry cumin, ginger and some whole spices. Add other ingredients at a time and keep stirring so that it does not stick to the bottom. Add boiling water and cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Garnish with desi ghee and chopped coriander leaves and enjoy simple quick meals.
