Piaggio India has launched the updated Aprilia SR 160 range in India priced at Rs. 1,17,494 (ex-showroom Pune). The company also introduced the updated Aprilia SR 125.

Piaggio India has launched the updated Aprilia SR 160 range in India at a price of Rs 1,17,494 (ex-showroom Pune). It is about ₹ 10,533 more expensive than the old model. The company also introduced the updated Aprilia SR 125, priced at ₹ 1,07,595 (ex-showroom Pune). Interested customers can pre-book the updated Aprilia SR 160 at all authorized dealerships across India, as well as online through the company’s official website for a token amount of ₹5000. The new SR 160 range will be available in White, Blue, Grey. Red and matte black.

The updated Aprilia SR 160 comes with extensive upgrades, which include a redesigned front with new headlamps and apron. Now it gets a new LED headlight instead of the halogen unit on the old model which gives an upmarket look. The handlebar cowl has also been revamped and gets air-scoops like recesses.

Power comes from the same 160cc, air-cooled, three-valve engine that makes 10.84 bhp at 7600 rpm and 11.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The scooter is equipped with 11-litre storage capacity, a USB charger, boot light, 6-litre fuel tank capacity. It also gets a fully digital instrument console which is borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160. The cluster shows RPM, Mileage, Average Speed, Top Speed, Fuel Indication, Odometer and Time etc. The sporty scooter continues to get telescopic forks at the front. , monoshock at the rear, front disc with single-channel ABS, 14-inch alloy wheels from the outgoing model.
